We have a wonderful experience here every year. The patch is usually ready by July -August, and we highly recommend visiting at sunset.

Nice paved path and recently saw that a new Biden administration plan to expand a portion of the area is now being built. Going to be even better. Oh yes, and some beautiful sunflowers in Spring!

We love going here every year when the sunflowers are in bloom to take pictures. It's a bit of a trek across a field and not easily accessible but once there, it's worth it.

I got there about 1230 PM, the temp was 37f when I got there. Due to an injury was only able to walk for 1.50 hours. The trail was hard to find using GPS ended up parking between the ag center and the RV park. There was no signs so I hope I was on the right trail. The trail is great for bikes, running, walking and dogs. I would not say it was a nature walk or hike. Will do it again.
